Lufthansa InTouch 

The Lufthansa InTouch Centre in Istanbul started its operations in 2003, servicing the German and Turkish markets for Lufthansa. Today, more than 200 employees service Lufthansa, SWISS International Airlines and Austrian Airlines customers from Turkey, Germany, Switzerland and Austria in German, English, Turkish and Swiss German.

The service portfolio of Lufthansa InTouch Istanbul includes a variety of Business-2-Customer (B2C) and Business-2-Business (B2B) services, such as General Reservations, Miles & More status customer handling, Web Support, Baggage Tracing, Travel Agency Support and Ticketing.

Lufthansa InTouch offers excellent customer service from Kağıthane 

The Lufthansa InTouch Service Centre in Istanbul shines in a new look: The Centre has moved from Zincirlikuyu into modern, bigger premises in Kağıthane. On the 2nd of December, Fazlı Kılıç (District Mayor at Kağıthane), together with Ulf Widera (Chief Operating Officer at Lufthansa InTouch) opened the new offices of Lufthansa InTouch in an official ceremony. The new offices stretch across 1,400 square meters and provide a state-of-the-art work environment for more than 200 Customer Service Consultants.

Famous Architecture

Istanbul is famous for its Byzantine and Ottoman architecture, but other European influences – modern as well as classic – can be found everywhere. The quarter Sultanahmet has a number of highlights, such as the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. Originally a church, later a mosque, and now a museum, the Hagia Sophia was built in the 6th century and is one of the city’s iconic and most visited sights. 


Set at the Bosporus - a channel of water connecting the Sea of Marmara with the Black Sea - the transcontinental city boasts sandy beaches, lush parks and charming islands. Outside the city the Belgrad Forest attracts nature lovers with picnic areas, jogging trails, natural springs and rich fauna.

Delicious Food

Balik Ekmek (fish-in-bread) is one of Turkey’s most popular street foods. Grilled fish fillet is placed in half a loaf of bread, and to enrich the flavour peppers, onions, fresh lettuce and tomatoes are added. The idea of this simple but delicious snack was born a long time ago when the fishermen who came to Istanbul's Galata Bridge decided to not only sell their fresh catch but to also grill the fish right on the boat and sell it as a ready-to-eat snack.


When the sun goes down Istanbul transforms into a vibrant scene of nightlife action. Whether it is shore-front restaurants along the Bosporus, bars in Nisantasi, nightclubs in Taksim or street cafés in Kadikoy - the variety of places to visit is huge and a night out in Istanbul will never be forgotten.

Istanbul Call Centre Awards: Best Training Programme 2011

At the 2011 Istanbul Call Centre Awards Lufthansa InTouch Istanbul won the award for the category “Best Training Programme”. The jury praised Lufthansa InTouch's comprehensive and practice-oriented training programme which includes classroom training, on-the-job coaching, airport visits, presentation of country-specific product information, as well as a ‘wall of fame’ that introduces all new trainees to the staff.
